Lost divorce petition

Hi all, i have just found out that my divorce petition sent at the begining of October has been lost ! Which included my only original marriage cert & obviously my personal information. Apparently the reason being, is it was sent to the local court , who had recently in september , stopped receiving petitions as they wer to be sent to Bury st edmonds. Apprently the court received it, then returned it to solicitor who never received it ! Solicitor also advised that they along with other solicitor practices were not informed of the change in courts !
So now i am back to the begining, with my personal info ... Somewher ??

Has anyone heard of this happening before ?
