    Question.

Assets brought into a short marriage of 3 years but co-habitating for 5 prior. So let's say for instance 100k was brought into a marriage that sat in a sole account. 20k of this was used to buy a car after marraige.

My question, would the whole amount of 100k be classed now as a matrimonial asset OR just the 20k.

Wow, such a big question on so little information!

    My answer: possibly.
