Hi i work for a 24 hour company with different rates of pay for different shifts more for nights less for days.
The holiday rate we get paid is the lowest rate of pay on the pay scale making that particlar week a lower paid wage than you would usually receive also its paid at 8.5 hours.
The majority of shifts are 9 hours with only one shift at 8 hours.
I feel this is unfair as you are sort of penalised in your wages for having holiday.
