  • COT3 Agreement

    Hello,

I am settling my ET claim with my employer. They are agreeing to pay 28days after they have confirmation the claim has been withdrawn.

I dont agree and want them to pay following signing the agreement. I will then withdraw my claim.

I think this might be a sticking point. Are there any standard terms for these settlements? Are either of us not being fair?

I dont trust my employer and know they may not pay. I will tjen need to chase for the money but will have no leverage.

    Any help greatly received.

Settlements are rarely paid as soon as the agreement is signed.

28 days is a normal employer starting point, although it is fairly standard practice for a company to agree for payment to be made within 14-21 days of the COT3 being signed.
