      Congratulations!!:thumb:

They discontinued the claim previously, are they threatening a new claim?

Sorry Nem and Kati, been in Wales for a funeral.

I really dont want a ccJ claim as my record will be more or less wiped after Monday 21st just the last one which dates back to 2013 so I will ask for a cca and see what happens i guess.

The CCJ claim on the last one was defended successfully as it was the wrong account number. This one seems to have been matched. Kinda sucks, this is the last one that is shown as default on my credit file, we really were hoping to buy a second hand car with 7 seats and dont want my credit file to be damaged with another cci. The previous ones were when we moved in 06 (British Gas, £30!) as they didn't trace us to our new address even though we paid the outstanding bill with our new address clearly stated in print on a letter. makes u fuming.

Hi welcome back, sorry for your loss!
You could I think challenge the BG default entry
          as unfair.

          CCA request asap !!

Will do it this week, Oh and just noticed, they have changed the account no to their own and not the OC account number? Is this to get out of the CCJ claim being defended successfully last time I wonder? Scroates...

It's not uncommon for debt purchasers to assign their own account numbers.

The OC account number is now correct, however the CCJ claim that was unsuccessful by lowlifes cannot be enforced again? Amount is the same though, not a vast sum of money, it is when not working, however. Can I also stat that the original claim for the same amount was defended successfully and as such a CCJ claim cannot be made?

Well nothing in post, so CCA being sent first thing Monday. Looks like the start of another paperwork tussle. They couldn't find the OCA last time so doubt if they will find it for this one.

Let's hope so, then the " paperwork" can be limited.

There's no need to chase the CCA request, non-compliance is a bar to enforcement for as long as the breach remains.

Just a thought, Vanquis used to be unable to supply compliant DN's . My account certainly never had one and it was written off by a certain bunch of thick int head Yorkshire losers

Good Morning all, well, Lowlifes, what a joke! They have received my CCA request, and are trying to fob me off with a request for an account that is statute barred. I know this as I have had a copy from experian. The CCA request is for a vanquis credit card that i foolishly took on. They are looking for the original credit agreement for a very old Lloyds account that is definitely SB'd as it dropped off my credit file last year. I keep a close eye on my credit file now. Anyway, my follow up to the letter will be stating this is the wrong account as they should know which account they are chasing me for and i require a copy of the CCA before, as lowlifes lost not long ago with a claim on the same account. They now have the correct account number (i think) so have started it all over again. `just wondering what my next course of action would be..I could have put the account number on the letter for the CCA but why should I? It is up to them to keep a record of their own accounts.?

Agree the " claimant" should have all documents relating to the debt their are pursuing before a claim is issued.
Lowell change many " account " numbers to one from their own system it this just administrative or a deliberate
ploy to confuse I don't know, but I would not be at all surprised if it was so.

When a CCA request is required from a " creditor " and an " agreement is mentioned in the POC it should be the case
that the claimant has it to hand, but without some changes in the court process it's not going to happen .
