Can anyone advise. I made claim against an ex friend /business partner who I coowned a property with that we had up for sale but she took off and refused to sell or rent out. After refusing to correspond with me for a year I found out she let the flat out under her company telling the letting agents the company owned the property. I have taken her to courts, informing the courts about the fraudulently activity and claimed for the loss of earnings on the rent on the property and damages . This is upto 10k for the courts to decide on damages. Her solicitor has asked for a strike out and say accusing her of fraud is serious even though i have the evidence to prove this as she signed as the director of the company and the companies name and bamk details is on all the on the letting agents legal documentation. Can anyone tell me where do I stand please?
