  • N24 General form of judgment - day of service

Hello - I wonder if anyone can help me with a question. I have received a Form N24 Order dated 30th September. It tells the defendants (there are two) that judgment has been entered in default against one of them - goes onto to say I can continue against the other defendant.

It goes onto say that because the order was made without a hearing that the parties have the right to request a set aside vary the order or stay the order.

It gives the parties 7 days from the date of service ... how is that calculated ? - I didnt even get my notice in the post until 9th September ! so how does this work - case was sent to another court out of CCMCC - ..

Also do I need to do anything further ?? do I need to contact the court were the papers were sent - The Judgment is for an amount set by the court ...
Just need to see what the next steps are ... I think the 7 days may already be over ....

One of the two defendants has already shot themselves in the foot a few times.

    Thank you
