  • Asset Collections & Investigations - County Court Date Due

    Good Evening

I wonder if anyone could assist me with my current situation with the above claimant please ?

I was sent a claim form by the above claimant some months ago which I replied to requesting the original credit agreement, default notice & notice of assignment after submitting my AOS online, as their POC were very vague.

Since then I have had no response, so also submitted my defence online within the timescales required. This then was deemed appropriate for mediation, which I refused to as I had no information to mediate with.

It has now been allocated to track and the court date is in sight, so have prepared my WS and am about to send all the documentation so far to the court again and serve a copy of my WS on the claimant.

I am unable to attend court on the date given and have produced a letter to accompany the WS, which I will also send to the claimant - I have asked the court to deal with the claim in my absence and make a decision on the evidence supplied.

Do I need to do anything else given that the claimant has not responded in any way ?

I am slightly worried that I haven't done enough but not sure if there is anything else I can provide to the court to support my evidence - On the other hand I can't see the claimant turning up to court given their lack of response to any of my requests ?

Any advice would be appreciated !

    Thanks in advance
