  • Dodgy defaults

    Hi All,

    Default 1
I am currently in the process of tidying up my credit file and noticed a default which was registered about 2 years after the recession severely affected me in 2010.
In 2012 there was no way I would have let them register a default for a relatively small amount if I knew about it.
Idem is dealing with the account, and they sent me a copy of the default notice which was supposedly sent to me. There is no name of a lender or address on etc.
I am willing to pay them the £260 odd pound in full if they remove this illegally placed default. There is also no reporting done on that account leading up to the default on y credit file. It just start with a default.
I am tempted to send them a letter with 2 options, one they delete the account when they receive full payment and the other option with a £10 cheque and SAR.
Please see attached the copy they sent me. Any advise will be appreciated.

LLoyds registered a default on my credit file 04 January 2013.
I phoned them about it then they said they sent a default notice out 26/08/2011 but happily marked my credit file as up to date (paid them with PayPlan) and a solicitor letter on 21/12/2012
So from the 21 to the 4th is 2 weeks excluding Christmas, boxing day and new year! #dirtybastards!

I have requested copies and they said they cant provide it.

    Any advise on this one?

    Thanks a lot
