Hi all,
I could do with some advice if possible.
I have am in debt with several companies and have been chased by debt collectors for many years, some have CCJs others are just still sending letters.
This particular one is with Hillesden Securities Ltd. £6105.31.
They had a CCJ (by default as I didn't defend) secured on my house. This got repossessed earlier this year and now they have threatened with bailiff.
From Aplins solicitors:
"We are about to apply to the court for a warrant of control to be issued against you. This will incur additional fees and costs which will be added to the amount you already owe.
Unless you pay the amount of the warrant, the court bailiff will call at your address with a view to taking control of goods belonging to you.
If you still do not make payment, the bailiff will remove goods of sufficient value to clear the debt (good luck with that). Goods to the value of substantially more than the amount owing will have to be removed and sold due to the cost of removal and auctioneers fees.
If you wish to avoid this you must take immediate action and contact our instructing agents (dlc, Buckingham Road, Brackley, Northants, NN13 7DN) to make a payment or agree a payment plan"
Now I've put in a complaint via their complaints procedure, and also decided I need to fight back with all this debt so I have sent the first letter requesting a copy of the CPR.
I think they've got scared now they have no security against the house as they're bottom of the list and probably won't get much from the house sale, if anything, by the time it gets to them.
Cheers in advance!
