May I say I really like this site. Legalbeagles seems the best place to go for good sound advice unlike some other consumer help sites. I feel a little more empowered by following the guides on here.:beagle::beagle:
I would be very grateful for some advice please on writing a defence.....I probably should have started my thread sooner but there are very similar ones in my situation which I have followed closely. I need to file my defence in the next couple of days. Restons agreed to an extension for filing my defence, this is what I have written.....
14: I have asked the Claimant if we may agree to extend the time period allowed for filing of my defence pending receipt of documents (as allowed under CPR 15.5), a written response was received on Xx/xx/xxx from Restons allowing an extension to file defence until xx/xx/xxxx.
I have received the usual Cabot letter stating they cannot comply with my CCA request, they cannot enforce the debt and my account is on hold....bla...bla....bla.... 40 days have now gone by and still no paperwork.
what should I write next in my defence after the above statement please?
