  • Hoist Finance county court claim. Help!!

    Hi,
If anyone can offer me some advice regarding this Id be really grateful!!
I recently had a county court claim from Hoist Finance UK holdings 2 LI being dealt with by Howard Cohen solicitors. A settlement was agreed by way of a Tomlin order on the 10th March. However I have just received a letter informing me that Hoist have sold the account to Lowell on the 08/03/2023 so two days before the Tomlin Order was agreed by the judge and they have appointed new solicitors, Overdales. A N424 was included, change of legal representative, but they are using a completely different claim number to the one I have and have changed the claimants details to Hoist Financial UK holdings 3 and not Lowell. I understand Hoist has been bought by Lowellbut I am wondering why they are still using their name? I am now very concerned why they have a different claim number on the form N424 and what will happen to the Tomlin Order which now has different claimants details on it. Any help would be gratefully received as it’s making me ill
