Question about CPR 35.6 "Written questions to experts"

Dear all,

Could anyone explain me if there are legal requirements when it comes to informing the other party of questions to expert witnesses? In short, do I need to CC the other party the questions I want to send to the expert? I could not find the answer myself.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
