I left a property about 6 years ago, I lived there for 11 years, a deposit keeps emailing me stuff about deposit protection being moved.
I did not even know what deposit protection was, I have since found out that the original agent was taken over hence all these emails. I was never paid back my deposit despite really taking care of property and I even spent weeks cleaning it after I left (it is how I was raised), still the Landlord claimed damages and I did not have the enegy to argue.
Now I have found out that the various tenancies were not protected within 30 days nor PI served.
Can I still bring a claim against the Landlord or is it too late because it is more than 6 years?
I hear different things, some say it is 6 years from event, others say it is 6 years from when you find out you are entitled to bring a claim.
