confusion regarding CCJ

Hi, I received a CCJ from a parking fine that I wasn't aware of, as I didn't receive it. The solicitors acting on behalf of Parking & Property Management are Gladstones. I attended court recently and the judge agreed to set aside my CCJ if I filed a defence to the small claims court. I have done this now, the solicitor has requested a paper hearing.

I am worried confused about the status of the CCJ.

If I lose the case and receive another CCJ, would I have the option to pay it off within a month and it not showing on my credit record? Or would this be something that affects me for the next 6 years?

Any advise that you are able to give me, will be much appreciated.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
