Dear Forum Members,
I have a noisy shower pump (walk-in shower), at least it's nosey to me(being assessed for Autism). I have complained to the Housing Association and said that it is impacting my health.
I complained in August 2019 they lost the complaint,
I complained again and something were missing from the complaint
Two council engineers have assessed the shower and said that the noise is normal.
The pump has been replaced with the same type of pump
Two agencies have said that it is too nosey
The result of the complaint is that they have done all that they can and it;'s fine. They said they can only change if they have a report from Occupational health to change it.
They have offered an independent assessor to look at the complaint.
What should be happening?
Who's assessment of the shower is valid?
What other remedies should I look at;
a. court action (please draft a letter before action) about noise or non-repair
b. ombudsmen (they do not seem to work unless you die or have children)
c. wait for occupational health and persuade them that the shower is too noisey
d. complaint to the council that my housing association has a noisy shower
Any other suggestion are welcome including go to a solicitor. If this is suggested please tell me how to get legal aided solicitors for this particular complaint?
Regards
