I have invoked VT on my fiat abarth 500. I have received a response which when I respond will start the VT and make it final... however I have a question. they are stating I am unable to return the vehicle and must pay for collection only.
“We also charge for any damage to the vehicle (deemed beyond fair wear and tear – guide attached) and excess mileage. Your agreed mileage is 10,000 per year and any excess is charged at 0.06p per mile.
Finally, you would need to pay £70 for the collection of the vehicle you cannot deliver the vehicle to the nearest Manheim Auction Site.”
the vehicle is within the agreed mileage, fully serviced and in good condition. I am willing to deliver the car to my closest Manheim Auction Site or where I bought the car from. But they don’t seem to be giving me the option of this.
Any advice on how to respond?
