LOL - excellent news, PF - talk about brinkmanship, eh ? !!!

As Turbo says, his earlier calculation was that you should be due a further £1540 IN ADDITION TO the original £806 offered. Have they offered A FURTHER £1540, or a TOTAL of £1540 ? I guess we'll find out when you post the letter, though...

    Right Guys and Marshy,

In response to the letter on sent to the FOS on the 5th November this is their email reply received today at 17:19hrs

I have spoken with the firm today and been assured that the information you have requested is being processed and should be with you shortly. I have also been informed that your cheque for the request has not been cashed as they do not intend on charging you for the information.
    I trust this is satisfactory.
    Kind regards

    -bad enough PF's memory--sorry PF
Will you stop apologising turbs lol and yes my memory is poor but that is due to the SAH (BLEED) stroke operation I had.

So no need to apologise to me lol

I never knew what Bill's view was TBH Turbo so I cannot be veering towards it. I am probably the most in the dark here as I don't know what you have all been sorting before I came along.

I can see where you are coming from on this and I only know of Co-op and my own experience and the same things happened with me with regards to the SAR. I requested one and they did not send it, when they did send me things it was a list of bank charges )which I had not requested and they were OD fees - not actual charges). I then wrote back again and they sent me a form which they wanted me to fill in (their own form). I then telephoned after receiving this letter.

I acknowledge receipt of your request for a copy of personal data held by this Bank in connection with above numbered accounts. Under the Data Protection Act, this is referred to as a Subject Access request.

Please forward a cheque for £10 to the above address (already had done!!), made payable to the Co-op bank which represents the charge under the act.

Please note that a full Subject Access Request does not include:

. Information held by credit reference agencies
    . Statements of your accounts
. Archived customer notepads, unless specifically requested.

It may be that you actually only require details of specific information held on our files. If trasactional information only is required, this can be provided at a reduced charge of £5. In addition, certain information can be provided free of charge and I enlose a form for your completion and return should you only require limited information.

I eventually got ALL the information including statements of account a short while after.
