I found this on Nigel Warr, he has been busy with telecomunications as well debt management....
    This is the link http://nigelwarr.com/

Nigel Warr was born 17th February 1966 . His parents met in the RAF where they were stationed in Hong Kong, Nigel's birthplace.

Launching his first major enterprise in 1993; Nigel built Gregory Pennington, the UKs first debt management business. Dealing with people in financial difficulties, Gregory Pennington soon grew to become a major business.

Also in the mid 90’s Nigel founded Eurocall, a business to business telecommunications provider.

In 2001 the telecommunications industry suffered a large decline following the Dot Com crash. It was at this time that Nigel consolidated his position by buying up the majority of his struggling competitors.

Having exited both the debt management and telecommunications industries successfully Nigel has since specialised in turnarounds.

Recent successes have included the hugely successful moneyexpert.com.

Nigel lives in Surrey with his wife Katie and their two children.

His interests include Polo, skiing and astronomy.

Just a quick post to let all of you know that as per my previous posts re getting my payment back from Cento, despite their faults they have paid me back via cheque.

I didn't note whose name was on it as I paid it in within 10 minutes of recieving it in the post.

It did take four phone calls and conflicting stories about how to get it back ("its already in post" followed by "no record sir, you need to send a letter etc) but it is back safely in my account.

    Which link?

Can we get info on First Union's directors? Have you noticed, none of these directors have history and they just seem to disappear into thin air?

ETA You mean Loans.co.uk's website that introduces First Union? It's disappeared - blank screen, but I've screen dumped the header.

Edited again. Should all loans secured/unsecured regarless of amount be regulated by the FSA?

They are a CMC who probably only use a solicitor on their panel if they have to issue proceedings as they can't

On my initial discussion with Cento they told me catorogically that Forbes Douglas were solicitors. When I questioned Cento further on whether Forbes Douglas were actually Solicitors and regulated by the law society which they insisted they were. After trying to pull the wool over my eyes they actually admitted to me they were a broker who then found a solicitor to work for you. From looking at Forbes Douglas web site yet again Cento have not actually told me the truth.

My contention is that your personal informations will be just passed to yet another organisation and who knows where it might end up. Please be aware!

    Loan Mis-selling

It is not generally known that many secured and unsecured loans were Miss sold due to secret or undisclosed commissions. It could be that you have had a loan, even one that has been repaid, where the lender is liable and can be made to pay you compensation. Whether you took out a loan through a broker, for a car, for home improvements, a buy to let mortgage, or home mortgage through a broker, or any loan that included PPI (Protected Payment Insurance) you may be owed several thousands of pounds in compensation.

    At Forbes Douglas

We specialise in handling compensation claims related to Miss Sold Loans. If we win a claim on your behalf we take a fee of 25% (plus VAT) of the compensation amount. You receive the rest. If we fail to secure compensation, you owe us nothing. You can choose to process your own claim of course, but if you don't have the time or simply too busy, use our well proven expertise and let us do it for you. Start your claim now by completing a short enquiry form and we'll get in touch within 24 hours.

Well they started at £39.99, maybe they have added another sheet of paper? lol.

If anyone HAS received one of these packs it would be very interesting to see it or hear what it contains.

I have seen one sent out by Loancheck (allbeit free - but they charged £199'gold service' if you found it too complicated to do yourself) - and it was simply a guide and template letter to sending a Subject Access Request.

Or have Cento moved on to Credit Agreement ''assessments'' now? scrap that just checked their new site and seems they have moved over to unenforceables as well as the rest.
