    Re: lloyds scums

my mobile contract expired Oct 2010 so I am quiet sure they have that number.but if I need to I will check it with the bank. to be honest I have learned my lesson and do not want to communicate with anybody in banking only with letters because at least I will have a track record and a proof of what has hapened.

again do you need me to tidy up the statement more?

-I do have the letter for the appointment somewhere but I am not sure if they made any notes or not.

    - my account clearly states student loan and bursary
    - as you see there is my income shown as well

As I have no money I cannot pay anything and with all the respect I do feel I have been pressured into taking the loan as they told me this is my only option to clear the overdraft charges. If they provide me with an alternate way of clearing my account would never take the loan

i did clear it up a little bit, is it better now?

Are you not paying any money into the account to service the loan? Are you not making any payments on the loan whatsoever from any account?

Can you tidy up the above statement bit cos I don't understand the entries as they are written.

    anyways
i have few comments on the letter Lloyds sent me as well:
    - I changed my account in about September 2010 because this was the first time they actually told me I can downgrade my silver account to current account. when I approached them earlier about finding the charges too much expetialy when I dont even use the benefits on my account they said they could do nothing. No one mentioned they actually have current account which has no charges.
Did they record a complaint at that time? And do you have the exact date or month and year that you went into the bank and who you spoke to?
    - they said 'it was not immediately clear' that I have received student loan and bursary - I walked into the bank personaly to change the account and made sure they know I had student loan coming through, and I received the st lan and the bursary for 3years on the same account so they had 3 years to notice it and they have been approached about it as well.
Unless it states "student loan" on the payment then it is difficult to be certain that an account is a student one. Did they complete a student account application form with you?

    - when I had a meeting with the branch manager I have used the same phone number given for 100% and he had not called me once about not being able to be there in fact the appointment was made by phone and I have received a confirmation letter after the appointment.
It may be worth checking what number that they had for you. I might add that if they could not contact you by phone, why was a letter not sent out? Furthermore, might be worth clarifying what number they have for you at the bank.

    - and I just found out that the loan payemnets have been increased from £36 to £57 without my knowledge....
when? That doesn't happen so what kind of loan do you have?
I cannot pay them that much simply because I have no money left....

do You need any of my bank statements to see what was going on clearly?

Ok, to be blunt, the charges issue for me is now about them waiving charges that were left. They have made an offer to clear the account to a zero balance and no one is forced to sign a loan agreement without their consent.

With regards to that loan I do want to know why the payments have gone up since most loans are fixed rate loans where the amount is set from the outset, ie 60 payments of x amount(for 5 year loan payments).

    It is payable.

The charges they levied on your current account that they did not waive should be queried.

It's interest on the cash amount. Usually on purchases the date the statement is produced is important. With Cash the interest is charged from the date of withdrawal to the date it's paid off. The £4.98 was the bit outstanding.
