What's the Haywards Heath address ?

You need to send three copies to the court, (they send one back to you, one to the claimant and keep one) and send one copy to the claimants (out of poilteness).

The forms should be pretty straightforward, you arent counterclaiming just entering a defence, and hopefully admitting the £150 and not so much defending the rest but saying you are unable to admit or deny it as you don#'t know how it is made up but if it does include charges you dispute it, is a good way to get on the right side of the judge and the payday loan company won't be wanting to have those argued in court in case it goes against them.

I'm sure you have done it absolutly right and as you are a LIP you will be given a little leaway and not expected to know exactly how it all works.

Next step may be an allocation questionnaire or possibly an order for a stay to allow the claimant to negotiate with you or supply the missing documents....soon as you hear anything let us know.

Sorry I seem to be the only one helping you on this at the moment and the timings a bit dodgy for me with my uni work this week Let us know any contact from court or the claimants and don't accept any tomlin/consent orders they may try without posting them up first...

        fingers crossed.

        Ame

I think Ame was trying to establish if you'd sent it to the court or the perhaps the claimant.

Re: Final Notice Before Legal Action

If you have just sent a single copy to the court I would suggest calling the court on Monday and asking them that you now realise that you should have sent 3 copies and ask them if they require you to forward on 2 more copies. They may offer to copy them for you.

Did you keep a photocopy of the one you sent them?

                          No it's not.

As I suggested, call the court on Monday an explain the situation and they may offer to copy it for you. If not you can offer to resend 3 copies of a new form as I doubt if they would accept 2 additional forms that are not exact copies of the original.

EDIT Just saw your text in the quote

In that case call Brentford CC as they will have contact with Haywards Heath. I doubt it'll cost £21.

Alternatively you could re-do the forms and post them today and call Haywards Heath on Monday asking them to contact Brentford to explain.

I will ring Brentford on monday and explain, I cant redo and post the forms as I have no ink left and I have just realised I have sent all the email trail instead of selected emails too.:tinysmile_hmm_t2:

I will ring the court on monday.

                                Don't panic.

The important thing is that the court will receive your N9 - the rest is just administrative.

The fact that Haywards Heath processes Brentford's paperwork and can't be contacted directly doesn't mean you can't solve this. Brentford is, after all, the court and the point of contact regarding your case.

Please note: this court is not the Haywards Heath Business Centre.
We cannot answer any queries regarding cases being dealt with by the Haywards Heath Business Centre. You must contact the court where the claim was issued for further assistance.
