Qpips I really was seriously thinking of hanging the white flag out & surrendering - it's great receiving some thing like that on your birthday - it really cheered me up no end & put a big smile on my face all day long - NOT!!!

Would his case be strengthened if a witness statement was obtained from the friend who spoke to Cox prior to that "gent" calling BoroBoy, telling him that his friend would not be paying and allegedly that he would be round in 10-15 minutes to execute the warrant by breaking in?

If it is relevant, then, yes. I am currently awaiting a response from HMCTS about certain matters pertaining to this case.

Even though this one is an old story, the horror that is Marstons goes on. Like Drakes they should be wound up, this post on that article from 2012 in fact posts have been made on it over the 5 years since it was published, this one is prima facie why Marstons should be wound up NOW:

"i have the same problems with MARSTONS i had a debt written off by the court as it was issued in error marstons called today and left a letter and and said they will be back the next day 09/06/2012 to remove goods and will have a locksmith with them , they simply dont listen i was threatened by the bailiff to have my legs broken if i stopped them gaining entry his name mr ryan his i.d 2777 i will defend my rights at any cost but these animals have to be stopped at all costs and if it means i have to be arrested to do so i am sick of being hounded by this company of crooks i have a heart condition and certainly dont need this stress "
