cant wait to see what happens to the boarder controls at the channel tunnel..................
I tell you the boarder in Northern Ireland will be interesting. We don’t need to go to pre 1973 to know that if you put a uniform on that border some ejit will throw a petrol bomb at it.

Did I hear the French say they were looking to back out of the Le touquet agreement ? Not sure how that will work really if we can only police from this side. Honestly I have no idea.

The French foreign minister has said that they will not police the channel tunnel and will not stop the migrants at calais.

They never did have a cohesive plan that is why I do not understand the result and without sounding paranoid keep straying back to the question of immigration. I just think it is ironic that they have managed to turn the UK people into the migrant workers!

and will get rejected, there's no way that I can see them introducing a second one - if the shoe was on the other foot, all the remain voters would be saying that the leavers are just sour.
People have voted, the result has happened and it just needs to be accepted and plans put in place.

I would not worry about letting migrants down the tunnel -there will be plenty of room soon! Airbus have a huge campus up the road where they can bunk up when they shut up shop.

If the new PM comes in and calls a General Election - and the campaign is run on 'stay in the eu' issues - could that potentially give people/gov't a backtrack? ( just wondering if that's the 'plan')

(and not suggesting that the EUref result should be ignored by any means - it is early days - I'm just pondering)

I can't see it getting far either. Doesn't really ask for the right thing and it couldn't be done retrospectively anyway. Easy to discuss in parliament though as I have a feeling the EU ref will be a hot topic regardless of petition lol.

However if lots of the Leave voters truly feel misled into the vote they made then they should have some form of redress? (or am I thinking about consumer law not politics ? )
