Okay my filing system is pants ( ie. there isn't one ) thinking on it I think the 70% was with 1st Credit/Intrum - but I have found a more recent Robinson Way / Hoist one I settled for 50%.
This was my letter initially...

And then ...

and on my credit file the account was moved to closed, marked as partially settled and a £0 balance.
( this is my closed accounts bit on my credit file - http://legalbeagles.info/forums/file...tch?id=1422479 all the 'Satisfied' ones are partial settlements - I needed to clean up my file and get all the defaults marked as closed to apply for a mortgage next year )
