Re: EU: - IN or OUT and WHY

Stay in but with no political or legal control of this country by other countries. if the UK wants to abide by any current or new EU laws they must have the option to opt out.
wWhy was it ever allowed to become an unelected tier of government that rules us we must be independent.
The argument about trade being seriously reduced is the biggest nonsense if we export to the EU services or products they want now why are they going to stop buying of we remove the political control that the EU has now?

Its hard to believe the rest of Europe will allow us to be trade only with no political legal or even monetary control over us especially Germany so I would vote no/

Well I shall be voting out of the EU. There are far too many rules by the EU some of which are not necessary at all, which also has an impact in businesses. Not to mention the billions of pounds being thrown at them but not getting as much in return.. Except for more rules!

A lot of good consumer legislation and case law has come to the UK as a result of our membership of the EU. Things like UTCCR and lowering of astronomical mobile roaming charges would never have happened otherwise.

Because UK governments (Tory or Labour) are more pro business in comparison to European nations.

Working Time Directive... read WTD...and look at all the exceptions - the power is firmly in employer's hands making WTA rather arbitrary control.
