Re: FMB Fanclub
thought I would give this thread a bump.
Got the Grandchildren staying so hope it stays nice today as I am hoping to take them to the animal sanctuary, it's only a couple of miles away, there is no entrance fee, they just ask for a donation, and that should keep them busy for a while.

Re: FMB Fanclub
regards to the shopping I was doing that too but it just costs too much shopping in the local small shops when you add it all up. They have the occasional bargain tho which is a bonus.

Re: FMB Fanclub
I know what you mean SL it's a nighmare that I can remember well. School hols were a pain, as for the what have we to eat, it gets worse as they get bigger and they eat more.
Since we moved I don't seem to get to grips with the shopping we are going every day.
Think it's because it's like starting all over because we ran everything down and chucked loads, naughty I know, but I did find a few tins OOD pmsl
Anyway today we are having stew and dumplings, test out the slow cook on the new oven.
It's stew and dumpling weather too nothing summery at all it's peeing down.

Well done for resurrecting this thread Paul. Well I got back from my holiday a week ago and it was FANTASTIC. If anyone wants to go to on a quality holiday its ideal, fly to Cancun then onto the motorway for 30 mins and turn off, you then go through the jungle for 10 mins and you wonder what the hell you are in for, then you arrive at the most beautiful hotel/resort you have ever seen.
Eldorado Royal Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico
Can't recommend it highly enough, best of all its a Gourmet resort, every meal is a la carte, its all inclusive (all good brands of booze not the cheapo local stuff you usually get), 5* (the suites are incredible) and there's no kids allowed oh bliss.
And even better its a resort for Americans, Canadians and British so no Germans pmsl.
-----------------------------------------------
Himself had his operation on Monday (Carotid Endarterectomy) was a pretty stressful day waiting for news etc but eventually all was ok and got him home on Tuesday, although he's very tired and needs to rest up for a month or so I'm chasing about like a blue arsed fly and also have my mum staying as well and she's no more use than friggin ornament either (and she's still smoking in the house, jesus you wouldn't believe the arguments we have had over her and her smokes), so am looking after 2 invalids, running the house, running the business and basically disappearing up me own bum pmsl.
Hey ho such is life lol.
Ok rant over thanks

Re: FMB Fanclub
Well I had to go searching for this thread, down on page 2.
It seems everyone is having babies at the moment, I became an Uncle on Wednesday.
my sister in law had a little boy, although it was over term, and a emergency C section was required, Little Evan came into the world at only 5lb 14oz. He spent an afternoon in SCBU, but everything is all ok now. He even has more hair then me, I couldnt believe it, but as he's scottish I suppose he'll need a head of hair to keep him warm.
On another note, I'm off on my jollies next weekend for 2 weeks in the spanish sun, just hope that Nelly hasnt drunk the breweries dry this weekend.
