Ding Dong the Witch is Dead

It has just been announced that former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has died.

    Aww. Shame.

It's a warning to the whole of America: Quem Deus perdere vult, dementat prius.

Our priest uses sherry Sapph,,swig of that warms ya cockles nicely
Hussein...........public hanging (no less than he deserved and was celebrated by those he had bought so close to all out poverty)
Bin Laden........shot and dropped to play with the fishes (got off lightly) celebrated by all the people he affected home and abroad (Thanks Obama,,job done)
Gadaffi.........executed for nearly crucifying his country etc......
Mrs T...........able to live out her natural life span,,died in luxury,,got a 'state'(but we not allowed to say that so it was ceremonial) funeral. And some areas will never recover what she did..Yes she did some good things but she also did some bad bad things. So yes,,I think she did very well to have that funeral..and No I don't blame anyone for their reactions yesterday,be they tears or bonfires.
The older people on here remember the Thatcher years,we LIVED the 80's,,I was 17 when she came to power........I actually voted for her the first time I could vote (and NO,,not because I thought she was great,,purely to upset my strictly Labour Dad.)
I was part of the 'buy now..and we'll crucify you with %'s so high you won't be able to keep your home cos you can't afford the mortgage' era
What has sickened me is those people who are too young to have remembered much using the funeral as an excuse to just be thugs,,to loot, steal etc.All they are doing is riding the coat tails of the genuine people who WERE there during her reign at No10 and saw FIRSTHAND what really happened,,not the eejits who weren't there and used her death as an excuse to be sh itbags.

Especially as the executioner grossly miscalculated the drop and pulled off his victim's head?

I freely admit that a tryant who physically tortured human beings and used kids as human shields ... well I wasnt exactly bawling my eyes out when he got the death penalty, and Bin Liner.. well again, I needed the old tear stick, but I thought the hoo ha when they died was over the top and the photos to prove it were disgusting..

bet you werent expecting that eh?

No silly, cos that's called Caniballisum and its frowned on in modern society!

The actual part of Communiun (forgive me Inca I cant spell) is, "Take this wine all of you and drink from it, for this is my blood, which will be shed to save you" or something.. (I'm going to hell in a rubber boat guys I can't remember it) .

But if all the vampires are as hot as Brad Pit was... sign me the hell up

Only when we take communion and its symbolised by what is usually blackcurrant juice but our local priest is very kind and uses a very good Merlot.

I agree with these comments, but.. why throw stuff at a coffin?
The only things you are going to hurt are the poor horses.. and no matter if it was in the cemetary, church or the local dog track,, throwing something at a hearse is WRONG!!

I'm just saddened that people could not show a little respect, even if it was a grudging respect for the family.

It's not the person that died that's upsetting me, its the reaction to it.

I don't and either on this thread or another one I have already stated the viewpoint that I do not agree with organised religion so I don't but some people might do.
