Well 6+ inches of snow dumped overnight.
Took 30 mins to dig my car out of a drift only to find I can't actually drive it anywhere.
ZERO traction.
So I call Snow Day, which impressed my kids no end.

I'll post pics in a bit.

ok well we had about erm 5mm of snow lol, no piccys, no point...I went shopping today and on my way to pick Daisy up from the nursery, I slipped and fell 'ouch!' I phoned my other half at work and ending up sobbing like a child, such a drama queen! :drama:

Hurt pride more than anything but think my back will be sore tomorrow....sooooo! I hope there's no more bloody snow!

As usual, this is my view of wintry conditions each morning this week! My area invariably escapes heavy snow fall and instead one is left with just the dangerous driving conditions and having to "go in to work anyway" regardless. Enjoy the time off, y'all

So we have the rear service road, look at all that virgin snow, didn't stay like that for long mind.


My car at 7.30am this morning half way through clearing it.


And I think my boy likes snow, yes it IS upto his knees..


To top it all I had my Snow Day ruined by a complete power failure at work.
So I HAD to go in to get all the systems running again.

Its been snowing lightly non stop since 11pm last night, its now coming down heavier ffs.

I've had an email from one of our major carriers.....

UK Mail have confirmed that the following postcodes are the main postcodes which are severely affected by the weather @ 12.08 pm today.

I had a mini before I moved house, me AND the three kids loved it. Such a shame I blew the big end lol.

Took a piccie of the local garage on the way home earlier.... doubt they are selling many cars lol.
