Well, just found my way over here from CAG after realising that the Egg thread had gone.

I actually thought admin had done that so that PB couldn't slam you anymore, and that it would be up and running again when the judgement was handed down - I didn't have even a vague inkling it was because you'd left PT, so I was straight over here after following B3rty's little clue - thank you B3rty!!

I'm really sorry to see that you felt you had to leave, although I can completely understand it from following the relentless attacks on that thread. If that is coupled with being moderated and not backed up by Admin then the choice becomes pretty clear I guess.

I see there's a fair few other CAGgers that no longer post there on here too - nice to see you again!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and add to the support that you have here PT, and to say you will be very sorely missed on CAG by many people. It's a huge loss to many members, and I'll be pm'ing everyone in my contacts list to let them know your new home.

It got so bad over there that you werent even allowed to mention the CEO of Worst Credit in Reigate. Bob Kingdon. Even if you put *** ******* your post was cagbotted. It got like that with a lot of DCAs. The mere mention of their names was a nono

I had a post of mine from 2 or 3 years ago suddenly moderated because it mentioned him by name.

No surprise as I was ripping the back out of the mods for allowing lowlifes to post,and PM ing all and sundry to dump CAG and come over here may have had something to do with it as well

Seriously tho,we have worked hard to build a community in its own right and I think we are all rightly proud of what we have acheived. Once you guys have a read through all the threads, announcements, campaigns etc you'll see we;re much much more than a CAG refugee camp (even though that was a big part of why we formed), and have tried our damndest to have a good relationship with them against the odds (yes and failed!) to share our hard work and info with their users, along with MSE, PC, PAG and CCS.

Looks like LB is becoming a kind of 'Peace Hotel' for fed-up GAG users.

Ah well - I've not been here long myself, and I've just managed to look at pt2537's last thread on there.

It seems to have struck a chord with many other users (I'm kind of jealous I didn't get the same attention ).

To pt2537, I'd like to say 'hello' and I've not been here long myself, but I've already felt more comfortable here than I have for months on GAG.

I almost walked from there six months ago, and I finally did a couple of weeks back - both instances due to repeated cagbotting of threads.

GAG's Stalinist site team doesn't appear to extend to LB, and so much the better.

well, because they slapped me on moderation over or whatever they did to my acccount, i cant post the egg judgment even if i do win, they wont get it not because i dont want them to, but because i cant post it.

I aslo note that they have still left my thread on CPR 31.16 up and i have reported it 5 or 6 times now, saying due to Kneale it needs pulling or a statement making that it is no longer safe to do CPR 31.16 apps with the application i posted

i did a thread over there on preaction disclosure

Since they moderated me, i asked to protect the users in light of Kneale v Barclays, that the thread be pulled, as they have no one over there who understands the proof requirements placed on the applicant

This is the thread why you shouldnt use section 77/78 CCA 1974 if you want the signed agreement - The Consumer Forums i wonder how long it will take, or if they will leave it up or not

If anyone applies for discovery they face a huge legal bill in light of kneale and i cant even post over there to warn them

I agree with that, a straightforward explanation of the affects of Kneale would be very useful to a lot of people (including me)

I can understand some of it, we get the odd email from people about putting inaccurate info on threads linked to names, it is usually okay if we organise for it to be corrected or anotated. I can imagine it would be harder to keep a track of on a larger forum. It depends how you treat people, if you email/pm someone and ask them to amend something, and explain the reasons why, then it isnt usually a problem.

Any way, we;re starting to sound like the Admin Zone forums here now.
