Morning Amethyst, yep Nibbler has already pointed out the error, so bet me too that one, now for the 37 other errors on the front page alone...................

Eeeek im going to get myself band at this rate:bolt:lol

Most are not important, but you have an unclosed meta tag in the header, and a few rougue tables, tr's and td's that are opened but not ended, not figured out why or what they are supposed to be there for, still not had enough caffine for that yet

    Blind runs and hides ......lol

Nibbler is correct as to the reason the notifications do not contain the text, as is Curly.

If spam gets sent out on email notifications it is picked up as spam and we get blacklisted. It also causes no end of problems with people posting in haste, then editing, and the notifications being sent out with the original text on. MSE do not include the text in their notifications either.

Anything else while we're moaning ? Just remember, this is not like CAG for a reason, it is NOT CAG.

We took the text out the notifications from day one and it will stay that way.

    And a privacy measure too.

Many people post in haste, and then quickly edit things when they realise they have posted unwise or private info that they shouldn't.

If notifications contain the original text, then that goes out unmodified to all subscribers.

Thank you Nibbler, thats more constructive, if I don't know I can't fix it, which I will do so later.

There is a prominent broken link of the site front page, so I suspect that you fell foul of that?

    Specifically the link in:

"Legal Beagles is a FREE forum offering support, discussion & advice in many areas of your life."

    i.e. http://www.legalbeagles.info/forum/ gives you a 404.

    If you click the

tab, then you get to the forum which has a Register link at the top.

Could arguably be more prominent though.

    ah ha

if were on the subject of having a moan about things,

    heres my moan,

On CAG , when you get a notification as to a reply , you get the message which has been posted, whereas here you dont, so you cant see if its urgent from the email or something you can deal with later.

it would be helpful if you could see what had been posted in the email notification

    (better known as blind-as-a-bat)
The site owners have worked extremely hard over the last three years with this site - I have not heard one person complain about the "awful" layout at all. Try navigating your way MSE or CAG even!! Less is more!

Im not actually banned over on GAG yet!!!!!

I might as well be though because my posts are moderated so by the time a mod clears them my advise has already been given by someone else. I cannot PM my pals nor read attachments. All because I joined the furore over the Leeds Losers

    Hi, AC.

I think paranoia prevented me last night from migrating my CAG username because I'm really not sure what's going on over there and whether those in question are lurking here. I've said 'hello' in the Welcome section today but you can PM me if you want to know who I am/was on CAG. No high-flyer, though, OK?

All of this household's debts are under control and have been for the past year:-

6 x CCs (pre 2007) now on the DCA roundabout awaiting them to serve papers. If they ever do!

2 x Loans with CCA correct; payments continuing.

1 x tied loan continuing minus PPI repayments. Mis-sold PPI claim not upheld by bank NOR FO!! Boy, what a kick in the teeth that was after all the evidence laid before them! I appealed and it was still not upheld!!

Still awaiting full response from Information Commissioner on bank breaching terms of DSAR, i.e, the failed to send copies of letters and branch notes that I know exist!

The last one has led me to believe that any organisation, not just the banks, can choose to omit paperwork requested under a DSAR. After all, it's your word against theirs, isn't it?

Still and all, I am more than happy that my wife and I got our lives back and our health didn't suffer much, unlike some people and for that I'm grateful to several of the names I've seen on this forum. I just think it's a shame that there's been this fragmentation for the banks/DCAs/biased judiciary will see this split in the ranks as something to exploit and give them confidence.

Since the Egg thread's gone on CAG, can anyone give me a brief synopsis of what happened?

    'Cado
