Haven't seen a courier phishing message for a while but now they've started again.

    FedEx No: 3456

    FedEx International

An email containing confidential personal information was sent to you.
Click here to open this email in your browser.

    Thank you for choosing FedEx.

Then lots of blurb copied from the real FedEx.

    Such a waste of time.

    Unrecognised Account Access Notification

This is the email address registered with your account studio@.....

We have reasons to believe your account may have been accessed from previously unrecognised device and or location we are not sure if this was you or someone else. In order to keep you safe we temporarily freeze access to your account.

To get back in your account use get started button below upon completion your account will be restored.

And a big 'Get Started' button

Just an obvious phishing attempt. claiming to be Nat West Bank but in fact from an email address info@lifeteen.com

    Metro Bank Email Rejection
Important message from Metro Bank (but the email address is actually information@lifeteen.com)

    Hello

this email is to notify you that the email address associated with your account is rejecting vital account notifications and has been set for removal.

then lots of junk about account settings, account console, assistance and policies.

Really it's all just to get you to click a link that says "Follow This Link"

No thanks - not that I even have a Metro Bank account but that doesn't matter to the spammers.
A hit rate of 1 in a million is fine for them as they send out hundreds of millions of these spam messages.

    The Email Deactivation Notice Scam
The email warns of the deactivation of my email account at my request.
"Our records indicate that you recently made a request to deactivate email. And this request will be processed shortly.
If this request was made accidentally and you have no knowledge of it, then you are advised to cancel the request by clicking below".
However, if you do not cancel this request then your account will be deactivated an all of your emails lost.

The email is from emailmanagement.com - not my email provider.

I didn't make such any such request.
It's just a phishing scam - trying to get me to click to cancel the deactivation.
    No thanks.

Received this one today. Uncannily like the real thing but the headers show it is from China. The domain was created 2 days ago. Bad link has been crippled.

I was thinking it can't be that time of the year again surely.

By Grabthar's hammer, you are right.
Galaxy Quest is the funniest sci-fi ever made. Shame there's been nothing like it since.

There are staggering numbers of these phishing emails - wish the email providers could weed them out automatically

Had several with the same wording but for my Microsoft account!
    All with dodgy looking senders.
Deleted and blocked them and guess what, nothing happened.

So, the moron who sent this hasn't realised we're in 2017 now and sent the email from lovlyheart101@yahoo.com

She could at least have made an effort to get a valid sounding email address surely?

    Hopeless.

    Google in London contacted me.

It's the Google Anniversary Winning Sweepstake Notification

I've won a truckload of cash and only have to send them my details
    - address
    - telephone numbers
    - nationality
    - full name
    - occupation
    - age and gender

It should be safe sending those details to Google - because Google don't commit identity theft.

Hang on a minute - the return email address isn't Google at all - it's besthailand.com

Better not send for my millions.
