Automated message saying that if I was in receipt of government benefits to press button one and to press button nine to be removed from the data list.
Computer voice no accent, never picked the phone up, the messages were on my answer phone, about five times ( possibly more as some witheld did not leave a message) with what looked like mobile phone number's ( slightly different each time) or withheld/ international.Hope that helps.

Yes, had similar! Lately ones about "engine parts" PayPal account payment, and being a long lost relative of some woman in Africa dying of cancer that wants me to contact her regarding lots of money she wants me to give to charity! ( thought that had stopped hadn't had any for ages!
Annoying phone calls as well, random numbers that look like mobile ones, that leave automated messages about benefits and pressing numbers on you phone key pad ( land line by the way) . Contacted BT in the end and they told me after him looking they all originated in Holland and were spam they have added them to the list they have. BT now have 1572 service with which you can bar these sort of numbers which seems to work. Keep up your good work.
