Re: Coventry Council Apologises for Threatening Bankruptcy for £42.50!!

Sorry all for late reappearance. I've had a very busy couple of weeks starting in my new job.

I'm glad to see that the 'apologies' have been received and that they say they will review their letters.

Ive tried several times to contact Les Reid at The Coventry Telegraph, with no success.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

No it isn't the CEO it is the leader of the Council who is an elected member + chase your Councillor up and do you not have more than one.

Good advice from PT Cornish Pasty. You need to keep the bit between your teeth over this and see it through. Those letters are really the start of your revenge as they admit their guilt (and liability) in the issue.

I am just bringing to their attention the wrong doing's of CCC and Newlyn plc or am I trying to obtain some form of compensation?
ANy further advice would be much appreciated

It appears the power above has managed to make headline news disapear now
                    The BBC article this morning
                    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23770628
had contact details for any one who had experienced problems highlighted in the article to contact the BBC, two hours later the contact section had been removed and now the whole post as vanished from the BBC news site.

Something tells me they do not what the public exposing their practices further

                      Hi CP,

Have you done anything about post 145 yet?

Have you done anything personally about contacting local or national press and other media? I think you will devote more time to it than LB is able to.

For £42.50 FFS, there having a laugh, thought it had to be at least £750

I need a strong worded letter if someone could oblige please, to inform the council of this outfits business practices.
I feel a bit guilty as this was your first post, and 7 whole pages later we don't seem to have got anywhere for you, other than a veiled apology. IF (a BIG 'If' as my memory is appalling due to an illness) I remember tomorrow, I'll draft something for you. Please forgive me in advance if I forget! :beagle:
