Re: Accused of Harassment and Bullying...Please help.

Bear in mind if you do challenge the result no doubt EVERYTHING that occurred between yourself and the young girl could be laid bare for all to see/hear and no doubt (as you have already stated) her version is a lot more salacious than yours. (50 shades -v-Mills and Boon) lol

Re: Accused of Harassment and Bullying...Please help.

Firstand foremost, everyone on here is really…really nice. The advice and support isvery much appreciated and I point this out in these opening lines as it means alot that there are people out there willing to help others.

I state againthat I am not bitter; I don’t even ‘hate’ the girl. I am upset though, I feellet down by my friend. He did nothing for me and excised me like a cancer atfirst sign of possible trouble. Some friend right? As for the girl, no I do not‘hate’ her, but I am fully aware that she is candy-coated poison. I continue towear my heart on my sleeve as she wears her lies on hers. She is manipulative, she hides behind a mask of deceit, under which she conceals more faces than BigBen.

PlanB…I didindeed write and sign a resignation. I was hasty but I took 2 hours to do it. Ijust wasn’t sure if I wanted the trouble, and then if it did drag out and I wonthe case, then could I possibly cost everyone that works there their jobs? Iunderstand that they had no concern for me, but I attest that I am not thatvindictive. The entire meeting was flawed in my opinion. Even the letter was sovague in stating things like “at times…” I mean what times? What a vaguegeneralisation that opens it up for her to screw me when it suits her to do so.It stated “Over several months…” in our fallout ,yet had instances drawn from 3years ago one such being I the accusation of breaking up a relationship, yetshe asked my advice the entire way through it, and then asked me to comecelebrate her newly found singledom. Basically she took everything good I didfor her, things that really helped her, things that she appreciated and thenshe used them against me.

The mediationthing bothered me too. Why that was never even offered is a mystery to me? Itwas never on the table. I don’t get how you can just take one side of a storyand make a decision based on that, regardless of what I was going to say.

FlamingParrot...Thankyou for posting the link on Constructive Dismissal. I will have a thoroughread. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Inca…I have noproblem with anyone knowing any details of the situation. I have nothing tohide. As I helped her, as I did things for her I told my employer at the time,he was my friend, so he knew I looked after her. Her version is certainly moresalacious than mine; to be honest I am surprised that a person can twist eventsas much as she has.

Looking over myprevious post some of the word spacing was a bit off, I’m not really sure whythat happened so I hope it doesn’t happen here. I am in my sister’s houseagain, and my 18 month old nephew is screaming,or at least attempting to screammy name while sitting in his Spider-Man car as he persistently crashes itagainst my right leg.

Always a kindword for MissFM who has always had kind words for me…Thank You. You have allgiven me your time and have helped both advise and distract.

I’ll try andcheck back in a few hours…no doubt the victim once again of infant Spider-Mancar road rage.

Edit: I can't seem to fix the word spacing...?

Hi GS! Well done on getting a toddler to knock you into shape - they are the best therapy! (take you back to the time "before the dreadful daylight starts/of unkept promises and broken hearts" - a time which is, IMHO, closer to what really matters) x

Dear GS - just realized that my last post will likely attract derision - wasn't meant that way!

Please do keep asking/answering questions re non-fluffy law matters. They will give you good advice here whether it is what you want to hear or not.

          :hat:Chin up! x

Greater self-love hath no man than this, that he should lay down his friends for his life.

INCAAgree with you this forum is advice legal help should be sought,a good thing about forums is that people share experiences this can be of great help when you are facing the unknown, letters from DCAs and others when first read appear to mean much more than they are only when someone comes along to point out what they can really do.
Another good thing on this and no doubt other forums is the fact that the first steps in solving ones problems are outlined in detail with the help of template letters and facts not known to many,
Lasstly an online community exists here with othersoffering help and encouragement so that people do not have to live in fear of those who in the pursuit of money who try to intimidate and make debtors fear they are hardenend crininals facing an unknown future
                      Long may it carry on

Sorry Miss FM, but I honestly do not think it is for us to tell people from whom they should or shouldn't take advice. Very occasionally it may be done where one knows somebody else is talking rubbish, but pretty much never.

If one were going with your post I'd say Eloise. Full stop. I don't know her from Adam, but she stands out from the corwd for any of us who have employed people.

Please do not do this, it undermines everyone. Purely my view, but a very strongly held one.

I don't think MissFM was trying to elevate anyone above anyone else, or to be anything other than helpful; but thank you for your kind words as to my advice. I do concur with others here that the OP would be best seeking proper legal advice, although I wouldn't recommend spending money on it unless they are going to dump the "tragic hero of a trashy dime store novel" approach and tell a credible story that focuses on the employment aspects of the story. And sorry, that isn't meant to be harsh, although I realise that it may be seen to be, but in five pages the OP has actually given no account of the employment aspects that they were asked or advised about; and the small amounts of information he has let slip suggest inconsistencies in his account which the OP has decided not to clear up or respond to. That is why the thread has become unfocused and "off target" when it comes to employment advice. If all the OP wanted was sympathy, then fine, I am pleased that they are getting that. Unfortunately lawyers and tribunals don't deal in sympathy - and that needs to be clear to the OP, because they aren't going anywhere fast with the approach they have so far adopted. And none of us can give any meaningful advice based on this approach, which is why I have not offered anything further. I will do so when and if there is something that warrants it.
