    thanks so far

i have just opened my post and i am now somewhat confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a letter from hoist portfolio holding 2 limited stating that 'mkdp has assigned all of its respective rights title and interest for my account to hoist portfolio holding 2 ltd effective 19-10-15'

the amount claimed now is 5032.20

so as there is a ccj, hoist has bought this debt as it sees it as more enforceable?

not sure what to do now, please help!

    thanks

    tilly
Hoist and MKDP are, in essence, the same people. It's money shuffling really. Hoist seem to get the judgment debts for enforcement.

No it would be through the court and Hoist if they now own the judgment debt. However I don't think you have much of a hope with a set aside and would seriously consider negotiating with Hoist for payment by installment, or an application to the court to vary the order to installments.

MKDP should have informed the court of the change of ownership as well.

          hi

          sorry i am not clear

are you now suggesting that its not worth trying to get the ccj overturned because it is very unlikely that the court will allow another set aside?

          thanks
