Re: Court claim received
I really can't work out these dates, I read..... "This is a 48 month agreement payable either by a first instalment of £16.02 on 8/01/2010 followed by 46 monthly instalments of £16.02 payable on the same day of each month, and a final instalment of £16.02 on 08/12/2013 or one payment on or before 01/01/2010.

Re: Court claim received
Yes, I have a fixed loan agreement they sent me, although when I have read through it... The date I signed it was 4-1-09, but first payment due says 8-1-10, why would my first payment be due a year later?

Re: Court claim received
You need to have a witness statement documents or no.Originally posted by carts69 View PostOk Nem, so as I have no paperwork and nothing but my word... This is all I can go equipped with, correct? Or do I have to write a simple statement regarding when I would have made the last payment, I'm not sure on any of this, certainly want to get things right before the case!
This is for example like a statement you would make to the county mounties about a traffic incident.
I will try to put something together for you as soon as I can life is somewhat hectic at present.

Re: Court claim received
All documents that each party intends to rely on in court have to be disclosed at least 14 days before the trial date, the witness statement is your " story " of the event leading to the claim coming before the court, + mentioning ( justifying and supporting document are listed next to the " event" in the WS.Originally posted by carts69 View PostThanks Stu 82 & Nem, hey Nem.....not sure what you mean re witness statement & evidence, I have no evidence to back this SB up, regarding the witness statement...what's that all about, I'm simply going to court, empty handed with very little to say! Am I missing something here?
