That "3 letter" system is utter nonsense.

Has anyone tried the method of copywriting/trademarking your name on getoutofdebtfree.org?
Not on here they haven't. It is seriously not recommended. People often end up here to help get out of the poop they've got themselves into by following GOODF's 'three letter process'.

They wrote to my previous address and advised they will put it on hold for 14 days after they send me the information required.

I put my new address on the letter and they send to the old address.... Luckily family still lives there.

They are saying they need to wait for the original creditor to send the information to them...

What do i do about the 28 day defence?

Re: CCJ Northampton - Arrow Global Drysdenfairfax

When is your defence due in ?

Arrow saying they will 'put it on hold till 14 days after they send the documents' doesn't really cut the mustard unfortunately for them.

If you are up for calling them ( or email ) you need to ask them to agree an extension of 28 days to the defence filing date. They can't put a claim in then randomly hang about until they get documents sorted as they should have had those before bringing the claim. Ask them to email you confirmation they agree to the 28 day extension and then you can inform the court. Some info on this http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...filing-defence

So we, and the court, run the timescales now, not them. ( but we should be seen to have acted reasonably hence asking for the extension now)

If they refuse or ignore you then we put the defence in anyway.

We can bring up the extension and address issues in the defence too.

Arrow Global have written to me saying they cant write to my new address even though it was on the letter i sent to them.

What should i do? Leave it to towards the end of the extension? or confirm my address now?

So far thats all they have sent me...

Also this is Arrow and not Drysdenfairfax

Hi,did you request a copy of the sale agreement/deed of assignment when you sent your CPR31.14,assuming it was listed in the particulars of claim? i recently dealt with the same people and had the claim struck out by filing an "unless order" with the court when they failed to supply the info requested under CPR 31.14,they did the same with me getting an extension to supply the info but i filed the order and it took about six weeks when they failed to comply it was struck outmashappy:
