  • Claim form

Hello, i have recieved a claim form saying i owe money to shop direct. I was unsure if this was a real letter as it looks printed and the wording says to avoid the court and pay the claimant.I am not 100 percent what to do with this and was wondering if i could get some advice on how to proceed.
i have responded to the claim online and stated that i will defend the claim.

          Sorry, stuck with this

To enable me to file my defence and/or counterclaim, I require inspection of documents you mention in your statement of case ahead of filing my defence on xx/xx/xxxx.

I don't understand this part. Is this the due date of the claim or something else?
