    You can also check your own bank account history if you have access to it to see if you did have a £250 payment in.

    I would at least ensure it was your debt before paying anything.

    Have you returned your directions questionnaire? Have you received a default / termination notice ?
    Pretty sure Payday Express no longer trade. Same as Payday UK

      Indeed but there is still contact for SARs - how operational it is I don't know... the alternative is to SAR BWLegal but as they haven't provided much in the way of information so far it seems unlikely it would come back with very much. There's also an email account.services@paydaycontact.co.uk or sheraz.afzal@themoneyshop.co.uk - again don't know how operational it is. Best bet really is to try get hold of the relevant dated bank statement from the account any loan would have been paid into at the time to see if the credit shows. At the moment all you have is a typed name on a digital agreement as 'evidence' you took out the loan.

      Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

      Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

      If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
