Type your details that should bring up the allocated court details.

Keep an eye on it, once you've sent the email to the Court, chase up immediately with a phone call, ask the Court for an extension if possible.

They might not deal with it by 'email correspondence', so you might have to send N244 (have it filled in, just in case) with fee..

I sent an email and included 3 email addresses, the Business Centre replied stating they are not dealing with the case and it has been passed on.

I had already copied in the other local court, but when I tried calling, had been waiting an hour then was disconnected!

Please advise how I should answer question 3 on N244 form which states; " What order are you asking the court to make and why? "

With fees, I cannot afford them, so would I need to apply for help with this?

      Many thanks

        In addition I am confused how to answer questions 4 and 5? which are;

        4. Have you attached a draft of the order you are applying for?
        5. How do you want to have this application dealt with? options - at a hearing, without a hearing, at a remote hearing?

Regarding No. 3, that the case is not reinstated because ............ .............. ........ (refer to Celestine's post).

Look at what time your local Court phone lines open, call them two minutes (because they give you recorded information for 2 minutes) before they open, then you should get through straight away..

            Regarding 4 - No.

Regarding 5 - Once you get all the info as to what has 'transpired', then you might want to explain in detail why it's unfair to reinstate the case, so remote Hearing would be a good idea.

Thank you so much, I have completed and attached both N244 and Help with fees forms to an email now.

Received acknowledgement emails, so will follow up by a call just before lines open tomorrow so that I do not get caught up in a queue. I need to check if forms need to be sent in the post, as unsure if the matter has been passed to local court yet. Copied them in though, requested an extension to 7 days, will certainly update, this is so distressful.

                Hello

A quick update, I rang through on 01/09/23, still had to wait an hour despite calling through just before 9am. I was advised an email would be sufficient with attached forms and would not need to forward via post.

I am now awaiting a response, so anxious about the situation.

                Kind Regards

I am distraught, panicking, as received no response to emails sent 21/08/23, 01/09/23 and today received a "General Form of Judgement Order" dated 24/09/23, or is this after reviewing my request?

                  The order states the following:

" Before District Judge Lucas sitting at ........

Upon the Courts own motion. The Court has made this order of its own initiative without a hearing. If you object to the order, you must make an application to have it set aside, varied or stayed within 7 days of receiving it.

                  IT IS ORDERED THAT

                  1. Allocate to Small Claims Track
                  2. List Defendant's application for hearing with a time estimate of 30 minutes in person.
                  - hearing notice will be sent in due course. "

I am confused about the meaning of this? How shall I respond?

Please help I only have 7 days from now since received it today?

                  Kind Regards

That is a response to you doing the following 'I have completed and attached both N244 and Help with fees forms to an email now'.

So the Judge will hear your request which was on your N244 form and has allocated 30 minutes, in due course you will be sent notification of time and place.

You can calm down and start preparing for the Hearing. You don't need to do anything else within 7 days.

Thank you for your prompt reply to explain.

How should I approach the hearing? as in wording to use/say, or am I just repeating points already raised in email/form to emphasise them (these were kindly advised by Celestine to mention, which I did)?

                      Thank you

I would keep to the same wording, expand to get your points across, be clear and succinct. You want the Judge to take onboard and understand what you are saying. Make notes so you can refer to them if need be.

Celestine Can you take a look please.

Have you received the hearing notice yet?
Beyond what you wrote on the N244, (unless it was very detailed) it may be wise to prepare a witness statement setting out the timeline of events in full. This will allow the Judge to better understand the weird sequence of events. It seems absurd that the claimant should go unsanctioned for this failure.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

                            Hello

Thank you for your message, I have not yet received notification of the hearing date.

I did submit a defence statement previously, should I add to this and re-submit to include no response for 2 years, then suddenly receive notice from court?

I am unsure of any other events that I could add to the timeline already submitted in 2021, apart from the fact that evidence requested was never provided by PRA, or contact/copies of the application to reinstate the case?

                            Many thanks
