For Real Estate Assoc his correspondence address is in Newbury.

    • As an update, he made contact today and we have agreed a payment plan. Many thanks to this forum and des8 in particular.

I would like to offer something back, probably to support worthier legal cases than mine, in lieu of payment. des8 - is there any group or charity you could suggest, given that I have relied so much on you?

      • That is a very kind offer, and much appreciated.
However, in keeping within the ethos of the forum, I don't feel it would be correct for me to make suggestions regarding donations, but thank you anyway.

        • I appreciate that, des8. I've donated a portion of the recovered money anyway.

The debtor has now offered to satisfy in full provided I immediately lift the charge on the property. I'm not really sure how I do this - I have gained a huge appreciation for the work of conveyancers doing this as it all looks very indecipherable!

          • Never had to do it myself either, but I think the form you need is AP1 Change the register (AP1) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
