Just to clarify did you receive a Letter Before Claim with some forms enclosed or a Claim form like the one here: http://legalbeagles.info/library/gui...y-court-claim/COMPLETING AN N180 DIRECTIONS QUESTIONNAIRE (SMALL CLAIMS TRACK) GUIDE
My posts here are based on my experience of a variety of life events. I have no formal legal training & if in doubt take professional legal advice or contact CAB. If you follow anything I write here you do so at your own risk & I accept no liability for any loss, costs or other outcomes.

And the name address etc. at the top of it are those of your partner?Originally posted by Setmefree3 View PostThis is the bottom of the agreement they re sent. Just a single page blank on the back. The only document signed is the application dated later than the print off from Argos.COMPLETING AN N180 DIRECTIONS QUESTIONNAIRE (SMALL CLAIMS TRACK) GUIDE

Forget the dates you were pursuing previously the debt is unenforceable as the credit agreement wasn't entered into at the time regardless of date and this is clearly indicated by the lack of signature on the document.Originally posted by Setmefree3 View PostYes they are.
You basically need to write back to them thanking them for supplying their documents, stating your partner never entered into a credit agreement with Home Retail Group Limited as demonstrated by the lack of signature on the credit agreement, that should their client file a claim you will defend it vigorously and pursue them for your costs of and occasioned in dealing with the claim.
They still might file the claim and then you will defend along those lines.COMPLETING AN N180 DIRECTIONS QUESTIONNAIRE (SMALL CLAIMS TRACK) GUIDE
