Re: Letter to npower : grateful for any comments
Hi,
You need to write to Npower stating that any correspondence that they are claiming came from you in Dec 2013, they have obviously misunderstood the situation. State that you cannot recollect what may or may not have been said, as it was some time ago.
Also remind them that in stating "At no point have we been made aware that the account needed to be In the exors of and also no deceased date has been given", is simply not true.
Why, after giving them all the information they required on 2013-11-06, would you then tell them that contacting the executor and solicitor shouldn't have happened.
That they removed the details previously given to them, is in no way your fault. It was not done on any instructions from you.
Ask for a copy of the final reading of the meter that the executor should have given them, and agree to pay for any extra electricity used.
Explain that their staff have evidently been confused by the two surnames being the same, your Mother's and yours, and have mistakenly added you as the account holder, which you have never agreed to, or indeed contracted too.
If you need help in drafting a letter, give me a shout.
