Re: Trades Gateway cancellation Help Please

I have today cancelled the direct debit. I phoned up customer service and want to cancel. They were extremely unhelpful and am paying 150 for a service I'm not using. They say that I have a credit agreement. Fair enough if I had seen the money but I haven't they have the money in trades gateway account. If they think that I am paying this for the next 3 and a half years they can do one. I emailed Caledonian and they are just as unhelpful. I've filled out an fca form on top of this. Hopefully TG will refund the unused credit. They've had nearly 1000 off me already for something I'm not using.

Amethyst - I have written to Marlborough Information services as I that is the only paperwork i have to cancel with. If the credit provider is another company i don't know who they are yet.
I have just spoken with somebody who has assured me it will be cancelled from MIS/trades whoever they are.
I got through on 0843 178 2670 with my 'student number'.
So will wait and see what happens next and whether they really do.

Apologies I missed this before, but if the same applies to you with regards the sales techniques, then yes.

Have you also sent a cancellation notice to the credit provider ( if there is one ) ?

Wish I'd found this site last week before signing up.

However i signed on the 4th and sent my cancellation today 9th (a photocopy) recorded delivery to MIS at the address they give on canx. form.

After reading all of the above - not very confident its going to be easy. Oh also emailed them at the contact@mis address informing them I had done this and if there is anything else i am required to do.

Is there anything else i can do for now?

    Also send a CCA request ( http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...y-of-Agreement )to the creditor - CF4TS ??

Employers can check employment history which I don't think this would fall under. Even then it's only what other companies choose to tell them through your referee. As far as I'm aware there would be no way of a potential employer to know about any of this unless you told them.

I hope these can help. If they are not clear then I will try to scan them at some point. These are what were left with me by the agent.

    Thank you

They are/were. It's complicated ... I keep meaning to do a family tree for all the various companies and how they are linked but it's finding the time. Good place to start is on companies house beta, and go through 'officers' and how they link up.
