However, I have registered a "concern about employer" with the universal jobmatch explaining what will happen to anybody who accepts a job with LTS

I went to a Job Centre and did the same. I hope this little helps...

Hi there please can someone send me details of the detective who is dealing with this? I am also owed money from Ms.Berhanu. Please send details through message asap. Also has anyone tried to get a court judgement against her or indeed got anywhere with getting monies owed returned?

Update for all: I have submitted my evidence to the detective and am passing on the email address to others who are owed money and may want it. I hope all the people on this thread who have been scammed are passing info to the right people- without doing so Ms.Berhahu will continue to get away with her disgraceful actions towards innocent people like us who have had the misfortune of being involved with her.

I have received an email notification today that the "Striking Off" of Berdale Centres Ltd has now been suspended.
I have no further details.

I suspect it has been done by Berhanu to fool her clients into thinking the company is still trading even though it ceased trading last May, though I may be wrong.
Then again it could be the police

I have only just come across this thread and I am very happy to have found it. I have heard very dubious things about this woman. I have heard from colleagues she has drawn up fake contracts in the past, linking herself and LTS with local colleges and other third parties who are none the wiser. I hope all unpaid tutors get things resolved.

According to Companies House WebCheck, Berdale Centres Ltd is now "Active" again!

If you go to Companies House website the registered Office address is shown.
You may like to write or email them ?

I have written this morning asking for my wages claim to be looked at again.

The shareholders have not been informed by Berhanu of this "Activation".

Makes you wonder what she's up to now and who she's scamming at this moment in time.

I've had a reply from the "Registered Office"
They say they are not acting on behalf of Berdale Centres Ltd or Berhanu.
I have advised them to remove themselves as Registered Office in their own interest.

The shareholders of Berdale have still had no communication from the Berhanus about anything. (no surprise there).
They are as much in the dark as the rest and thought that the company should have been closed down by now!

She is probably trying to wangle something and doesn't want anyone to know what it is.

Please keep us all updated as to your own progress and any further info you may have.

Has anybody reported them to HMRC yet? I'd be amazed if they're paying any tax. Certainly haven't on the salaries they owe.

Hi All
With ref to the HMRC post: she, (LTS), won't be liable to any tax payments to HMRC until wages have actually been paid over.
She (Berhanu) will, however, be liable to pay tax on her "earnings" if she has kept the money for herself as that will be classed as income.

The problem as I see it is that National Insurance contributions aren't being paid, either by employer or by DWP.
This could ultimately lead to everyone having gaps in their contributions which could then affect pensions and any benefit claims in the future, something which is not immediately apparent to all the people who are owed wages!

So if any of you out there are thinking "oh it's only money", think again!

According to my sources Mrs Berhanu is now back in the UK
