                      Claim dismissed. Should I have asked for costs??? No contract formed. Claim was generic. Didn't comply with part 27 co I procedure rules.

                                As originally (until last night lol) we weren't going to be attending and had submitted non attendance and skels to be heard in our absence we didn't add costs to the skels or prep for on the day costs at all.

                                I'd like to think it would have gone Avid's way anyway even had he not being able to attend - but it is great he was able to ( for reasons I'm sure he will impart later on ) and hopefully be able to give a bit more guidance to others going forward....

                                NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
                                Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

                                Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

                                If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
