            BPS texted my stepson (the Respondent) TODAY stating it's still not too late to pay the £117.60!!! They've submitted their Claim & paid the Court fee!!!! How desperate are they not to go to Court?

              They are using court as intimidation rather than a legal processs - their particulars of claim are awful.

                        lol, indeed, thanks Mineral1 I hadn't sussed that .... they do seem to have a set 'system' with the automated texts etc - or at least show that they do on the charge list being as half those weren't done. Maybe have a look at a few others too see if they are the same.

                              Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

                              If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
