      Hi,
Have been looking and asking about and think you need to do an SAR request here:- https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...ccess-request/
that should provide you with the underwriters details, then there is another post with the letter to the underwriters here:- https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...ess-ppi/page10
      Hope that helps
I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

        HI Peridot

Sent First plus a sar in november last year, they finally replied with in January with 2 sheets , which only has personal details and no loan information. When I called them up they said dial4aloan had only orovided them with the details. Yet when I had called them prior to the sar, they had confirmed the loan amount, ppi and settlement. They said they dont know the underwriters. Dial4aloan have said that firstplus arranged ppi through an underwriter. . Feel like am being giventhe round around.

Weren't firstplus ppi policies underwritten by Norwich union / aviva in the main? Could be worth asking them. But get a complaint in to dial4loan for now so you are in a position to take it to ombudsman if you don't get anywhere xxx

really as it was dial4loan sold you the loan and ppi policy the claim should be against them so get your complaint in so you can get it to FOS

It's post #361 on that thread anyway if the link doesn't take you there directly.

That's a letter to Genworth who underwrote PPI policies for GE Money. It's not a template just an idea what to write.
