Fingers kept crossed here Steve, although I do think if it were a rejection you would have heard by now.

Steve, you are very patient lol, I would be chasing them up now to ask if by any chance if they have come to a decision, with it only a matter of time left.

            Bingo

came home today to a letter, final response is an offer to repay ppi + simple interest

strangely i have to accept the offer before i find out how much the offer is, i have to sign an additional form because i have previously been refused a refund on this account.

needless to say i shall be accepting, now bets are being taken on the amount.

£7000 over 4 years taken out in 2001 paid off early and in full in 2004

            i have no idea..........

                  Re: stevokenevo V LTSB Insurance

Still no feedback or response from them RE my settlement.

Lost patience and tried calling last night, but gave up after 20 minutes on hold.

Will maybe try again later today.....

Email them with a copy of the settlement. It usually gets to their LTSB Insurance customer care(which reminds me, lol!!!)
I have to chase something up with them as well.

                    Here's their email addy: PPI.Customer.Relations@lloydstsb.co.uk

                    Worth a shot....

                        Re: stevokenevo V LTSB Insurance

After emailing the address provided, i received a phone call at 9.10pm last night from the ppi dept at ltsb.

They said a letter was getting sent out in a week to 10 days with my offer of £2520, and a cheque would be on its way in around 6 weeks.

No idea why it takes so long, but, at the end of the day its on its way, im not in a rush for it and it will be a nice lift in time for xmas

thanks for all the advice and support guys

oh, and the letter arrived yesterday to, dated 16th sept which is the 1st day i got through on the phone.

curiously, both times i have got through it was after 34 minutes on hold, exactly 34 minutes twice.....
