    Re: lifestyle claims ppi

Hi GDD, yes please send that to Exc please, he has already sent your last comunication on to the MOJ and has requested that they urgently take action in this matter. We have also requested confirmation from Shama's... so far they have not answered. We will not leave it there as they had no right to your personal information like credit card numbers. I just hope that they dont charge your card. Maybe you should check with your credit card provider that no unauthorised transactions have taken place. It concerns me that they do not have any signed forms from you and yet they still feel they are entitled to some money from you. These type of companies are working outside the guidelines of their authorisation and with your help we are actually able to provide proof to the MOJ.

        Re: lifestyle claims ppi

Gdd, I've got the letter & invoice from Redhawk - thanks.

Having had no response from the e-mail I sent to Sharma & Co I've just called them and spoke to the manager responsible for the Lifestyle aministration who has asked me to put my concerns in writing to her directly and she'll respond. Someone else there I spoke to did let slip that they'd sold Redhawk ''more'' than mererly the Lifestyle consumer database.

Notwithstanding, in the absence of any signed letter of authority, I am certain that no contractual relationship exists between you and Redhawk and as such their invoice is unenforceable.

I'm going to forward the invoice to MOJ and in the meantime I would contact Barclaycard and ask them to block any attempt for payment by Redhawk Legal Ltd or their trading name of Money Back & Advice.

I hope Exc that you are able to record this call - it should make interesting listening to for the MOJ who always believe what the CMC tells them. Lets see what Redhark will tell you.... and whether it is the same as they told the MOJ.

gdd, can you tell me if you ever paid an up-front fee to Lifestyle Claims? I assume you had at some point as that's how they worked but it would be useful to know when I speak to Redhawk tomorrow.

We are really pleased that you have had no further hassles from them and if you do please contact either Exc or myself immediately.

Another member is also having some difficulty where redhawk are trying to collect £50 - they do not have a contract with Redhawk and Redhawk are threatening them with Bailiff etc.... trust me Redhawks days will be numbered pretty soon I am sure, we are determined that they should not scam the public and threaten then in the manner in which they are doing and it is outside the OFT guide lines on debt collecting especially when they do not have a signed contract. I believe they purchased a redherring from Lifestyle Claims.

                                Re: lifestyle claims ppi

I too had signed up to Lifestyle Claims, who successfully recovered some PPI and I paid them for it before they went into administration. However there were two outstanding claims, both with BlackHorse. When I phoned to see what was happening the phone was answered by 'Synergy Financial Solutions' who told me that they were carrying on where Lifestyle left off and had details of my outstanding claims. Blackhorse have recently paid out and I have now recieved contracts and Letters of authority to act and disclose for Blackhorse from Synergy financial solutions.
Did any contract I have stop when Lifestyle claims went into admin.?
As Synergy have sent 'new' contracts can I assume I don't have any contract to them and do not have to pay them? (they have not sent me a bill as yet)
As Synergy have also sent 'letters of authority to act and disclose' for Blackhorse, Will that mean that they will never find out that the account has been settled?
                                Thanks in advance

                                Jim
